Powerscreen is pleased to annouce 10 new appointments at our headquarters in Dungannon - 6 of which are part of the Powerscreen Graduate Programme.
Name: Sean Loughran Organisation: Powerscreen International Position: Product Manager, Electrical. Role: Heading up Electrical Department. Track Record: Joined Powerscreen International in September 2007 after running his own company Contec Automation for two years. Sean qualified with a First Class Honours degree in Electronic Systems. Sean has also worked in New York. | |
Name: Michael O'Neill Organisation: Powerscreen International Position: Engineering Manager – Design Role: In charge of Design Engineering Department. Track Record: Joined Powerscreen International in September 2007 after spending 15 years in Gloucestershire, in various design roles in construction equipment companies. Michael initially joined The Powerscreen Group as a graduate and moved to England with a subsidiary company. | |
Name: Gary Cardwell Organisation: Powerscreen International Position: Manufacturing Engineering Manager Role: Specialises in ease of manufacture from concept of design, developing product for workforce to physically assemble. Working across whole product range and material flow process. Spent one week in USA visiting key players in Terex lean manufacturing and familiarisation programme. Track Record: Joined Powerscreen International in September 2007 after working in Alexander Dennis coach builders in Scotland as Business Unit Director. Also worked in Short Brothers before moving to Alexander’s thirteen years ago. | |
Name: Anna Durrant Organisation: Terex Position: 8 month Placement in Powerscreen International. Role: Working in Purchasing and Planning Track Record: Joined Powerscreen International in October 2007. Degree in Pharmacology, joined the Terex graduate scheme which was not exclusive to the engineering profession. Attended Newcastle University and comes from Boston, Lincolnshire. | |

Track Record: Joined Powerscreen International in October 2007. Graduated from University of Ulster Jordanstown, 4 years spending one year placement with Magellan Aerospace Wrexham. | |
Name: Paul McGarry Organisation: Powerscreen International Position: Graduate Research & Design Engineer Role: Designing for the next generation of Powerscreen. Track Record: Joined Powerscreen International in September 2007. Paul McGarry received a Masters degree in Manufacturing Technology and Design from the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology in 2007, after working in New York for ten years as a production manager. Paul worked as a production supervisor in Australia, the UK and Ireland before going on to the USA. | |
