Powerscreen International at ENTSORGA-ENTECO Show

The Powershredder 1800 will be exhibited at Cologne's Entsorga-Enteco Exhibition.

Powerscreen International, the world-class manufacturer of screening, washing and recycling plant and equipment, is displaying one of its most successful specialist recycling machines at the Entsorga-Enteco Exhibition in Cologne this month. A Powershredder 1800 is featured on the company’s stand (Number D30/E35 – Hall 6). The Powershredder 1800, together with the larger version - the Powershredder 2400 - are internationally established as two of the most productive and efficient waste minimisation machines available on the market today and are playing a vital role in domestic solid waste, mixed construction waste and green/timber waste reduction.

In attendance on the stand are Powerscreen’s German distributors:-

C. Christophel GmbH of Lubeck and Jurgen Kolsch GmbH of Heimertingen.

The Powershredder 1800

Designed and built for heavy-duty volume waste reduction tasks, the Powershredder 1800 has a high output performance that belies its compact dimensions and mobility. The Powershredder 1800 has various configurations that each produce a consistent and uniform material with a range of beams, tool heads and combs to match. Operationally, the machine is quiet, has a low dust emission level and is compact enough for the most restricted of sites. Automatic and fixed reverse shafts that are easy to replace facilitates maintenance and produces efficient processing of materials. Additionally, full remote control is standard on tracked machines for safe operating distance. The machine is available as tracked or hooklift.  A generously proportioned low loading and tipping hopper allows the shredder to be fed by conveyor, excavator and grab or loading shovel. The hydraulically raised discharge conveyor, with chevron belting, has a discharge height of some 3 metres for good stockpiling capacity, loading directly into tippers or direct feed into a secondary separating or blending processor.

Optional extras include an overband magnet for removal of tramp metals and three different types of breaker bar can be installed below the shafts for further size reduction of waste materials.

Powerscreen Trommels

The range of Powerscreen trommels is, arguably, the largest of its kind available on the world markets today. A number of varying configurations and undercarriage options offer recycling professionals versatile and productive screening plants suitable for the reclamation, processing and stockpiling of green, municipal and building waste, topsoil and compost. Powerscreen trommels feature heavy-duty construction, high capacity output and a fast set-up time of, typically, around 5 minutes.

Introducing The New Phoenix 2100 Trommel

In a continuing programme of customer-driven product development, Powerscreen International in 2006 launched the new Phoenix 2100 trommel. Designed and built for high-volume processing of topsoil and wood chips, recycling and composting applications, this latest addition to the trommel range is equipped with a 180º swivelling, remote control, angle adjustable radial conveyor for significantly increasing stockpile volumes.

The new Phoenix 2100 has a 4 wheel friction drive system and reversible operation to rock the drum for easy blockage clearance. The 6.45mX 1.94m rotating screen drum has screen angle adjustment between 4º and 7º with variable speed control up to 24RPM and features hydraulically adjustable machine working angle.

Options include triple axle, remote control tipping grid, single or twin-deck vibrating grids and the trommel drum can be easily changed for punch-plate screens.
